Scope of application of electric control valve

The main control parameters selected for electric control valves are: nominal diameter, design nominal pressure, allowable temperature range of the medium, flow coefficient, etc.

The ideal flow characteristics of regulating valves include fast opening, parabolic, linear, and equal percentage. It is necessary to choose a regulating valve with appropriate flow characteristics based on the actual working flow characteristics.
The selection of the nominal diameter of the regulating valve should be determined based on the required flow capacity of the valve. The nominal diameter of the regulating valve should not be too large or too small. Excessive size increases engineering costs, and the valve is in a low percentage range, reducing adjustment accuracy and deteriorating control performance. Being too small increases system resistance, and even when the valve is 100% open, the system cannot meet the set capacity requirements.

For regulating valves, the allowable regulating pressure difference and shut-off pressure difference are important indicators for their selection. If the actual pressure difference is higher than the allowable adjustment pressure difference of the regulating valve, the valve will have the problem of inaccurate adjustment, and in severe cases, it will damage the valve actuator.

Maintenance
Valves do not require maintenance. When performing valve or actuator repairs:
1. Stop the water pump and cut off the power supply to the water pump.
2. Close the shut-off valve.
3. Completely release the pressure in the pipeline and allow the pipeline to cool completely. If necessary, disconnect the power supply wiring.
